Kip Burkman, M.D., is a rehabilitation physician in private practice, specializing in disability medicine and life care planning. A physiatrist, he previously worked extensively with stroke patients and Immanuel Rehabilitation Center, Omaha, Nebraska.
A graduate of the University of Nebraska College of Medicine in 1984, Dr. Kip Burkman completed his residency in physical medicine and rehabilitation at the Rusk Rehabilitation Center in Columbia, Missouri.
Dr. Burkman is a Fellow of the American Academy of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, a Fellow of the American Academy of Disability Evaluating Physicians, and a member of the American Medical Association.
Dr. Burkman also holds a doctor of pharmacy degree from the University of Nebraska College of Pharmacy. He received his undergraduate degree in biology from the University of Nebraska at Omaha in 1976. Dr. Burkman, his wife Christine, and their two children, Nathan and Alyssa, make their home in Omaha, Nebraska.
