Lynn Chandler-Willis owned and operated the Pleasant Garden Post, a bi-weekly community newspaper, for 13 years. She covered the Kimble story for the newspaper and it was through those articles, Unholy Covenant was born. She is the author of the 2013 Grace Award winner, The Rising (Pelican Book Group, 2013), and Wink of an Eye (Minotaur Books, 2014), the 2013 St. Martin’s Press/Private Eye Writers of America Best 1st Private Eye Novel competition. She is the first woman in ten years to win the competition. She lives in North Carolina near her children and nine grandchildren and shares her home with Sam—the Cocker Spaniel.
