Linda M. Battisti is a trial lawyer for the Office of the United States Trustee, United States Department of Justice, in Cleveland, Ohio. She graduated with a bachelor of arts degree from Rollins College in Winter Park, Florida; she received her law degree from Cleveland State University Law School.
Her family has deep roots in protecting the rights of individuals. Ms. Battisti’s late uncle, Judge Frank J. Battisti, desegregated the city of Cleveland in the 70s, and he was the presiding judge over the Kent State killings that occurred in 1970. Judge Battisti’s legal clerks established a memorial lecture series in his name at Case Western Reserve School of Law.
Ms. Battisti’s brother, Gino Battisti, Esq., is a trial lawyer in St. Louis, and is appointed to death row appeals. Ms. Battisti lives in a Cleveland suburb.
