Tiffany Oliver Leigh, is a board-certified family law specialist and former chair of the Family Law Section of the State Bar of New Mexico. Tiffany is dedicated to the education of both family law attorneys and litigants. She has served for many years as the chair of the New Mexico Family Law Institute and the New Mexico Collaborative Symposium. Tiffany is a founder and regular volunteer at the Divorce Options Workshop, a monthly community outreach program designed to teach pro se litigants how to resolve their family law issues without the need for court intervention. Tiffany frequently presents at continuing education seminars and in 2011 received the Continuing Legal Education Crest Award, an award given to the top young lawyer presentation by the State Bar of New Mexico.
Tiffany’s practice is focused on a wide array of family law cases including complex divorce cases involving business valuation, property division, child custody, child support, and pre/postnuptial agreements. She is a skilled negotiator who seeks creative solutions both inside and outside the courtroom.
Tiffany has been recognized as a Southwest Super Lawyers Rising Star in both 2014 and 2015, a distinction bestowed upon only 2.5 percent of the licensed active attorneys in the state. In 2014, Tiffany coauthored an amicus brief which resulted in the New Mexico Supreme Court reversing a Court of Appeals decision and extending guardians ad litem quasi-judicial immunity.
Tiffany is called upon regularly by the court to serve as a settlement facilitator in all types of family law cases. She is also the chair of the Board of Directors of Wesley Kids, an outreach of the First United Methodist Church.
