Jan Gilman-Tepper, a New Mexico native and firm co-founder, has practiced family law exclusively for more than thirty years. She concentrates her practice in the area of business and high-net-worth divorces. Her clients have included entertainers, professional athletes, and business owners, or their spouses.
Ms. Gilman-Tepper frequently lectures on collaborative and litigation divorce topics for continuing legal education seminars in New Mexico for other attorneys, and for financial and mental health professionals. She has lectured on such topics as the collaborative divorce process, complex litigation in divorce, trial practice, business valuations, and professionalism.
Jan is often involved in multi-layered or multi-jurisdictional cases that involve business valuations, professional goodwill, multi-state business organizations, prenuptial agreements, and tax issues.
Ms. Gilman-Tepper has written for the prestigious American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers Journal and is certified as a family law specialist by both the American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers and the New Mexico Board of Specialization.
