Joseph J. Kodner, Esq., is a partner in the firm of Zerman Mogerman LLC. He graduated Phi Beta Kappa from the Washington University in 1999 and obtained his juris doctorate from the Washington University School of Law in 2003. Following graduation, Mr. Kodner practiced for two years in Kansas City in the field of defense litigation. Since joining Zerman Mogerman LLC in 2005, he has limited his practice to the field of matrimonial and family law, with particular emphasis on prenuptial agreements and appellate work. In addition to his trial level work, Mr. Kodner has successfully handled numerous appellate matters in the Missouri Court of Appeals.
Mr. Kodner has spoken and written on a variety of legal topics. In addition to his other publications, Mr. Kodner co-authored the update for the most recent edition of the Missouri Bar Family Law CLE chapter on “Conflicts of Law.” He has been recognized on eight separate occasions as a “Super Lawyers Rising Star” by the Missouri and Kansas Super Lawyers, a publication of Law and Politics Magazine.
Mr. Kodner is licensed to practice law in both Missouri and Kansas; he is a member of several local bar associations. Mr. Kodner and his wife Holly are the parents of two daughters.
