Cary J. Mogerman, Esq., is the managing member of Zerman Mogerman, LLC in St. Louis, Missouri. He obtained his juris doctorate degree from the Washington University School of Law and his bachelor of arts degree from Drake University. He is a Fellow of the American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers and a Diplomate of the American College of Family Trial Lawyers, an organization limited to 100 lawyers throughout the nation. He has been recognized in Woodard/White’s The Best Lawyers in America, for Family Law, since 1999.
Mogerman is a past recipient of the “Roger P. Krumm Family Law Practitioner of the Year” award from the Missouri Bar Family Law Section. He has been recognized as a Missouri/Kansas “Super Lawyer” since 2005, a “Missouri/Kansas Top 100 Super Lawyer,” and a “St. Louis Top 50 Super Lawyer” by the same publication since 2006. For ten years, Mr. Mogerman has served on the faculty of the AAML Institute for Family Law Associates, offered annually in Chicago, Illinois, and since 2012, he has been a member of the national faculty of the annual Family Law Trial Advocacy Institute, offered for eight days every summer in Boulder, Colorado by the American Bar Association in partnership with the National Institute for Trial Advocacy. Mr. Mogerman is a past-chair of the Family Law Section of the Bar Association of Metropolitan St. Louis.
Mr. Mogerman is a frequent lecturer for local, statewide, and national programs,on a variety of topics related to the practice of marital and family law. He has also written articles for legal journals including the Journal of the American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers and the St. Louis Bar Journal. He has authored the chapters entitled “Conflicts of Law” and “Characterization and Division of Property in Divorce” in the Missouri Bar desk book, Missouri Family Law, now in its seventh edition.
Mr. Mogerman and his wife Dee are the parents of three adult sons.
