Richard A. Sanders Jr., Esq., is an attorney in private practice with the law firm of Andrews & Sanders in Savannah, Georgia, and admitted to practice in all the courts of Georgia, including the Supreme Court of Georgia, the federal courts, and including the U.S Supreme Court. He graduated from Georgia Southern University in Statesboro, Georgia, with a bachelor of science in justice studies. Sanders then earned his Juris Doctor cum laude from Thomas Cooley Law School in Lansing, Michigan. He is a member of the family law section of the Georgia State Bar Association and the American Bar Association.
His primary practice area has been family law with an emphasis on divorces and custody disputes involving military service members and their families. He is also a registered mediator in Georgia for general civil cases and domestic cases. Sanders is judge pro tempore in the City Court of Bloomingdale and teaches in continuing legal education seminars for lawyers and judges. Andrews also coaches winning teams in high school mock trial competition, as well as mentoring moot court activities for the Savannah Law School.
