Robert L. Schwartz has been practicing law in the State of Arizona for over forty years. His courtroom skills were developed over the past forty-one years. Starting as a prosecutor for the Maricopa County Attorney’s Office wherein he tried numerous jury trials and progressing to practicing exclusively family law for the last thirty-five years. Mr. Schwartz has become a known expert in the area of family law. He is a family law specialist certified by the State Bar of Arizona, a Fellow in the American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers and past president of the Arizona Chapter.
He is a founding member of the Arizona Family Law Institute which consists of a two-day family law symposium held on an annual basis in the State of Arizona. He is a frequent lecturer in the area of family law and has been recognized as an expert in family law, both nationally and locally. Mr. Schwartz has tried numerous family law cases involving the most complex and difficult of issues. He has handled many appeals, which have in some cases, established family law within the State of Arizona or modified existing family law within the State.
