Jessica Kirk Drennan has practiced law in the areas of family and matrimonial law since January 1996 when she entered private practice. Formerly a Shareholder in The Crittenden Firm, she Jessica is a Fellow of the American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers, serving as President-Elect of the Alabama Chapter, and she is active in the Family Law Sections of the American and Alabama Bar Associations. Ms. Drennan has practiced law in Alabama with an emphasis in family, matrimonial and adoption law for more than seventeen years and has considerable experience in complex litigation involving cases with high asset marital estates and custody in controversy. She graduated from Newcomb College of Tulane University with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Economy in1991 and then attended The University of Alabama School of Law earning her juris doctor in 1995. Ms. Drennan is a member of the Family Law Sections of both the Alabama State Bar and the American Bar Associations.
She founded Kirk.Drennan, P.C. in February of 2011 with her paralegal, Tina Schilleci. Kirk Drennan, P.C. now employs three attorneys and three staff members. The firm concentrates its practice in family and matrimonial law including divorce, alimony, child support, custody, visitation, dependency, paternity, adoption, and pre and post nuptial agreements… Before forming her firm she was a partner first at The Anderson Law Firm, LLC, managing the Birmingham office and then at The Crittenden Firm, P.C. Throughout her many years as a lawyer her practice has been concentrated in the areas of divorce law, family law and adoption. Ms. Drennan has also received the highest peer review rating of AV from Martindale Hubble. She believes the keys to success are thorough preparation, creative solutions and passionate advocacy.
