He founded this state of the art, fully accredited surgical center to provide his patients with the ultimate in safety, care, comfort and privacy. He is also a member of both the Connecticut State Medical Society and the Fairfield County Medical Society. Dr. Gordon has written extensively on current concepts in facial plastic surgery and is recognized for his expertise in the most sophisticated techniques in face-lifting, brow lifting, and nose surgery. He has appeared on television and in the print media discussing and educating the public on the field of facial plastic surgery.
His specialty is the revolutionary facelift technique called the Deep-Plane Facelift, which involves repositioning the underlying facial tissue rather than just the skin. Because this technique focuses on the deeper facial structure there is no unnatural tightening or pulling of the facial skin that typifies prior facelift techniques. The other benefits of this technique is that there is no pain after surgery only mild discomfort and the recuperation time is approximately two weeks, after which one can resume a “public life’. The Deep-Plane Facelift has won the devotion of patients because of the natural and longer lasting results and faster healing. Acclaim from the plastic surgery community is further acknowledgment of this advanced technique.
In addition to his formal training and medical accolades, Dr. Gordon takes great pride and care in the human side of his practice. Dr. Gordon invests an immense amount of time and energy to ensure that his patients approach facial plastic surgery with healthy attitudes and appropriate expectations. He strongly believes that a patient’s care is as important before surgery as well as after surgery and personally manages their care to provide maximum comfort and the very best results.
