Jon Mendelsohn, M.D., is a facial plastic surgeon in private practice in Cincinnati, Ohio. He is medical director of the Advanced Cosmetic Surgery & Laser Center. He received a bachelor of science degree in molecular biology from Syracuse University. He attended medical school at the State University of New York Health Science Center, Syracuse, and also completed a residency there in otolaryngology: head and neck surgery.
Dr. Mendelsohn is board certified by the American Board of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery and the American Board of Otolaryngology–Head and Neck Surgery. He is a fellow of: the American Academy of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery, American College of Surgeons, American Academy of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery, and the American Academy of Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery.
Dr. Mendelsohn is a member of American Academy of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery’s committees on multimedia and new technologies and devices. He is a national trainer in the use of Botox and a regional trainer in the use of autologous platlet gels. He has presented nationally at conferences on facial plastic surgery, and has authored numerous papers and publications on the topic of facial plastic surgery.
