Suzanne W. Braddock, M.D., a breast cancer survivor, is a dermatologist in private practice in Omaha, Nebraska. After her diagnosis of breast cancer, Dr. Braddock had pressing questions about the disease, even though she was a doctor. She wanted the facts—the basic facts.
After recovering from a double mastectomy and chemotherapy, Dr.Braddock pledged to write a book that covered the basics of breast cancer, its diagnosis, and treatment. Straight Talk About Breast Cancer is the result of her determination.
Born and raised in New Jersey, Dr. Braddock received her medical training at the Medical College of Pennsylvania, Philadelphia, and at the University of Nebraska School of Medicine, Omaha. Dr. Braddock is the author of several scientific publications. She has a grown daughter, Gail.
