Jerald S. Goldstein, M.D., a native Texan, is certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology in both Obstetrics and Gynecology and Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility, a distinction held by fewer than 1000 physicians in the country. Dr. Goldstein received his Bachelor of Science degree with honors from Tulane University and graduated from the University of Texas Southwestern Medical School in 1992. He completed his residency at Oakwood Hospital; a University of Michigan affiliated hospital and his fellowship in Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility at the University of Vermont. Dr. Goldstein is one of the few board certified reproductive endocrinologist to have completed a one year surgical fellowship sponsored by the Society of Reproductive Surgery in Advanced Laparoscopy and Hysteroscopy at Texas Women’s Hospital.
Dr. Goldstein’s past academic appointments include Assistant Professor, Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology, Division of Reproductive Endocrine and Infertility at the Washington University School of Medicine, St. Louis, MO. Dr. Goldstein the author of scientific publications in peer-reviewed journals including Fertility and Sterility and Obstetrics and Gynecology and has lectured on a variety of topics related to reproduction and fertility. He is a member of the medical staff at Presbyterian Hospital of Plano and Dallas and is affiliated with the Presbyterian Hospital ARTS Program in the Margot Perot Building. Dr. Goldstein is a member of the American Society of Reproductive Medicine, American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology as well as the Society for Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility (SREI) where he is a member of the SREI Practice Committee writing clinical guidelines for the specialty.
Dr. Goldstein’s areas of expertise include in vitro fertilization, recurrent pregnancy loss, polycystic ovarian syndrome, endometriosis, donor egg , pre-implantation genetic diagnosis, and fertility preservation in couples undergoing therapy for cancer.
Dr. Goldstein and his wife Jennifer, live in North Dallas with their two sons, Ryan and Ben.
