Jonathan M. Davidorf, M.D., F.A.C.S. is a board-certified ophthalmologist with Davidorf Eye Group, in West Hills, California. He is a member of the teaching faculty at U.C.L.A.’s Jules Stein Eye Institute. Dr. Davidorf studied medicine at the University of California, San Diego, where he was awarded a National Institutes of Health (NIH) research grant. After medical school, Dr. Davidorf completed an internship at Harbor-UCLA Medical Center, and completed his residency in ophthalmology at the Ohio State University. He completed an international fellowship in refractive surgery (laser vision correction).
Dr. Davidorf has published numerous articles in peer-reviewed journals, co-authored the first textbook on LASIK, and has trained numerous ophthalmologists in advanced surgical techniques. He lectures internationally on the subject of refractive surgery, and continues to develop new surgical instruments for the correction of refractive errors. He is a member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology, the International Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgery, and the California Association of Ophthalmology.
