Ruth Wassinger began running after she turned fifty and has completed eight 26-mile marathons, including the Boston Marathon. She has competed in hundreds of other races.
Professionally, Ruth is a registered financial advisor with Principal Financial Group in Omaha, Nebraska.
Ruth attended the University of Nebraska-Lincoln and received her Bachelor of Science Degree in Business and Vocation Education. She received a Master’s of Education Degree in Vocation Education. She taught high school and college before transitioning into a career in financial services.
