Perry Johnson, M.D., is a board-certified plastic and reconstructive surgeon. He is also board-certified in otolaryngology-head and neck surgery. He practices at the University of Nebraska Medical Center in Omaha, Nebraska. His areas of interest and expertise include reconstruction after head and neck cancer and breast cancer. He also has a strong interest in the rehabilitation of patients with facial nerve paralysis.
Dr. Johnson received his undergraduate degree in chemistry from the University of Kansas. He also received his medical degree at the University of Kansas. Following medical school he completed a residency in otolaryngology-head and neck surgery at the University of Nebraska. He also completed a residency in plastic and reconstructive surgery at the University of Pittsburgh.
Dr. Johnson is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons, American Society of Plastic Surgeons, American Academy of Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery, American Academy of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery, and the American Medical Association. He also serves on the editorial board of Archives of Facial Plastic Surgery. Dr. Johnson has authored twenty scientific publications and has presented nationally and internationally on topics of plastic and reconstructive surgery.
