| Eye of the Beast -- The True Story of Serial Killer James Wood, was released in December. Sales for Idaho true crime were brisk through the holiday shopping season. Co-author Scott Shaw made twelve autographing stops throughout Idaho and Utah.
Seven of his book signings were hosted by Wal-Mart stores, where Scott signed several hundred copies of the book. The Wal-Mart appearances were arranged by the Caribou County Domestic Violence Committee. Shaw and Addicus Books are donating portions of proceeds from all Wal-Mart book sales to the group's drive to build a safe house for victims of domestic violence.
Shaw's co-authors are Terry Adams, now of San Francisco, and Mary Brooks-Mueller, now residing in Montana. |

| The Street-Smart Entrepreneur -- 133 Tough Lessons I Learned the Hard Way rolled off the presses in early December. Author Jay Goltz, a Chicago businessman, wrote the book, drawing from his years as an entrepreneur and small business owner. Jay started Artists' Frame Service in 1979 on a "shoestring" budget, and today operates the largest custom picture framing facility in the world. |

| The ABCs of Gold Investing by Mike Kosares is heading into its second printing. The first printing sold out in a matter of months. The book was a popular selection of the Conservative Book Club this past year. Mike is also now writing a regular feature for Money World Magazine. |

| First Impressions author and image consultant Joni Craighead continues to speak to women's groups around the country. Joni has also created a new line of matching bath and body products to complement her book. |

| Author Susan Adams autographed more than 200 copies of her book, The Family Compatibility Test at a December book signing in Omaha. Ms. Adams' message to families is also reaching thousands of readers through her syndicated column, The Family Compatibility Test, now appearing in Family Magazine editions from coast to coast. |

| In addition to trade sales, Straight Talk About Breast Cancer continues to be a popular acquisition for hospitals and clinics around the country. Hospitals in Des Moines, Iowa, and Muncie, Indiana, are among those to recently order the book for breast cancer patients and their families.
Author Suzanne Braddock, MD, a breast cancer survivor, donates all royalties from her book to breast cancer causes. This past year, she established a charitable trust to fund breast cancer support groups, including those for men whose wives have been diagnosed with breast cancer. Other projects include the Nebraska "Every Woman Matters Program," which provides a free copy of the book to any woman within forty-eight hours of a breast cancer diagnosis. |

| A Scream on the Water, by Margaret Press and Joan Pinkham made it into the top ten this past year in the Ingram Books "Big Kahoona"--the top selling 50 books in the mystery and true crime genre. Addicus Books originally published the book as Counterpoint -- A Murder in Massachusetts Bay, a trade paperback in 1996. St. Martin's Press acquired mass market paperback rights, bringing out A Scream on the Water in 1997. |
